Dates contain many important nutrients such as fiber, vitamins (C, D and B vitamins) and minerals (iron, potassium, calcium, magnesium, copper and zinc). Dates, eaten in moderation, also have a beneficial effect on digestion.
Dried dates are almost fat-free and low in calories, despite their high natural sugar content. They provide us with energy. That is why dates are popular with athletes.
Create your date mail. You need a good blender for this. Soak 150 g of pitted dates for about 30 min. in water and then mix with 150 ml of water. Date paste will keep in a jar in the fridge for about 1 week.
Date paste is ideal for sweetening. You can use date paste, for example, for homemade chocolate made from coconut oil.
