Polenta - corn semolina
Use polenta as porridge, stew or dumplings.
Basic recipe for polenta : boil 2 cups of vegetable broth, stir in 1 cup of polenta. Leave to swell on a very low flame for 15-20 minutes. If necessary, stir in the egg. Use a little less liquid for the polenta recipe, about 1½ cups.
